Welcome to the book club!
Love learning new skills, traveling through time, and feeling motivated to take on anything? Great, you’ve come to the right place.
This book club is a place for us to escape the day-to-day without leaving the house.
Most of my recommendations center around a female protagonist or one that will simply add value to your life.
Below you will find the current book of the month, so we can read together, and past reads you won’t want to put down.
Grab a glass of wine and stay awile.

Book of the Month: November 2021
All the light we cannot see
This month we are reading All the Light We Cannot See by Anthony Doerr. This critically acclaimed and multiple award-winning book is about a blind French girl and a German boy whose paths collide in occupied France as both try to survive the devastation of World War II.
I tend to read a lot of books set in a German occupied Paris during WWII – for example The Nightingale and The Dressmaker’s Gift (both of which I recommend). When done right, authors can create beautiful imagery, suspensful plots, and heart wrenching moments resembling the real stories people lived through during this perilous time.
